Advanced Care for Chronic Wounds
The Wound Healing Center at Alamance Regional is designed to help patients with wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment. The center treats a variety of wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-healing skin tears, radiation tissue injuries, and failing skin or muscle grafts.
Our multidisciplinary team includes wound care physicians, certified wound specialists, physical therapists, hyperbaric technicians, nurses, diabetes educators and dietitians. Each patient receives an in-depth wound assessment, and our team works with your primary care physician.
Treatment options include:
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Dermal skin substitutes
- Debridement
- Advanced dressings
