Women have unique health needs at each stage of life. At The Women’s Care Center, you’ll find a staff who has special expertise and experience in women’s health along with the latest advances in care and treatment for women. Our center, located on Alamance Regional’s third floor, includes Women’s Surgical Services and the BirthPlace. We’ve included state-of-the-art medical equipment as well as features and services to make patients and families feel at home.

Women’s Surgical Services
Alamance Regional was one of the first hospitals in the state to offer laparoscopic vaginal and laparoscopic supracervical vaginal hysterectomies. These minimally invasive procedures help patients heal more quickly. We also offer the latest techniques for incontinence treatment, endometriosis, tubal sterilization, and a range of other gynecological and urogynecological surgeries. Our procedures also include NovaSure endometrial ablation for abnormal uterine bleeding and Essure tubal sterilization.

Following surgery, you’ll recover in a quiet, private room. And our nursing staff is dedicated to women’s medical needs, so you can be assured you’ll receive knowledgeable, understanding care from pre-op to discharge.
