At Alamance Regional Medical Center, our goal is to exceed your expectations in every aspect of your care. Admitting and Registration
All patients should report to the admitting and registration area located in the Medical Mall. If you have been asked to pre-register, you may use our online pre-registration or pre-register in person at the registration area in the Medical Mall area. Patients who have pre-registered should still report to admitting and registration the day of their test or procedure.

You should bring the following items with you when coming for pre-registration and on the day of your test or procedure:

  • All current medical insurance cards
  • A photo ID
  • Co-payment
  • Any paper work your physician gave you
  • Recent lab or diagnostic test results such as MRI, X-rays, EKG, etc.
  • Living Will and Power of Attorney Information

If you are under age 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign consent forms before any procedures or tests take place.

Pre-Admission Testing
If your doctor has scheduled an appointment for pre-admission testing, the pre-admission testing area is now located on the second floor of the Medical Arts Building on the Alamance Regional Campus. You should park in the Medical Arts Building parking lot.

Tobacco Free Campus
Alamance Regional cares about the health of our visitors, patients, employees and medical staff. That's why we have eliminated all smoking areas and made Alamance Regional tobacco-free both inside and outside, including all areas of our campus and parking lots.

Your Safety and Security
We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment during your hospital stay. We’re using advanced technology, ongoing staff education and a range of precautions to ensure patient safety and security. Some of these efforts include:

  • A computerized physician order entry and pharmacy system and a professional pharmacy staff help minimize the risk of medication interactions or medication errors.
  • Standardized precautions are used on every patient unit to prevent skin problems.
  • A computerized patient care documentation system and patient identification system that has multiple alerts and double-checks to enhance patient safety.
  • State-of-the-art monitoring equipment and professional security guards help keep our buildings and parking lots safe and secure.
