Volunteers of all ages are making a difference at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Every day, volunteers greet visitors, escort patients for discharge, provide directions, deliver patient mail and perform countless other tasks. The smiles, comfort and helping hands they offer to patients and families are a vital part of our organization. They also provide Lifeline services to the surrounding community and operate a courtesy car and gift shop on our main campus.

Our volunteers work through the Alamance Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. The auxiliary also raises funds to provide equipment that enhances patient care. During the last year, more than 400 adult and teen volunteers contributed 75,081 hours of service at Alamance Regional. If you would like to be a part of our volunteer team, please complete the appropriate application and return via mail or fax to Gina Blackwell, Director of Volunteer Services. Adult volunteer applications are accepted all year; teen volunteer applications are accepted each January and February. Teen volunteers must be 14 years old by September 1, of the year they apply.
