Specialty Clinics
Affiliations with Duke University Medical Center and UNC Health Care offer our patients access to highly specialized oncology care right here at home. Four specialty clinics are conducted at Alamance Regional in conjunction with leading oncology experts. These clinics include:

Gynecologic Oncology – Patients with uterine, ovarian and cervical cancer receive care from an experienced gynecologic oncologist right here at home.

Thoracic Oncology – Patients with lung or esophageal cancer receive specialized care at this weekly clinic conducted by an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon. Our thoracic disease team brings together physicians from many specialties to study cases and recommend treatment plans.

Surgical Oncology - A surgical oncology specialist from Duke University Medical Center works with local surgeons and offers consultations for patients with suspected or confirmed gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and other cancers.

Neurologic Oncology - A UNC Health Care neurosurgeon who specializes in neurologic oncology sees patients with tumors of the brain or spinal cord. Patients are able to receive pre-operative and post-operative care and treatment at Alamance Regional while having surgery at UNC Health Care.
