Security Standards

At Alamance Regional, we understand that security is very important to our applicants. Although we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality of data transmitted over the public Internet, we encrypt all data transmissions between your computer and our website by using the strongest-available, industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocols. Your messages to us are not decrypted until they are inside our firewall. There, they are subject to additional security procedures.

Encryption

The encryption process scrambles your data into a form that only your browser and the Alamance Regional website can understand. This is an effective way to achieve data security. Encryption significantly reduces the possibility of unauthorized users intercepting and reading your account or transaction information.

To access Alamance Regional, you must use a browser that supports 128-bit security. To be sure that your browser supports the latest encryption technology, update your browser.
