Pediatric Inpatient Unit
An aquarium, brightly decorated walls, toys and videos all help make children feel at home on our pediatric inpatient unit. Should your child need to be hospitalized, you’ll be able to spend the night right there in one of our special sleep chairs. And, our staff has the training and expertise needed to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients and families.

Pediatric Asthma Center
The Pediatric Asthma Center is a nationally recognized program that is a joint venture of Alamance Regional and The Healthy Alamance Child Asthma Coalition. Families of children with asthma learn how to prevent and control asthma attacks, resulting in fewer visits to the Emergency Department and reduced school absences due to asthma. Pediatric Heart Clinic
Area pediatric heart patients are able to receive follow-up care and testing at Alamance Regional’s Pediatric Heart Clinic. A pediatric cardiologist from the UNC Division of Pediatric Cardiology sees patients two times per week. For more information, call 919-966-4601.

Pediatric Rehabilitation Center
Alamance Regional’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, located on South Church Street in Burlington, provides physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy for infants, children and adolescents. Our staff is specially trained to meet the unique needs of developing children. Free speech, language and hearing screenings are available for children ages 2-6. Healthy Kids
Healthy Kids is an eight-week program that teaches children and parents healthy eating and exercise habits. The program focuses on lifestyle changes rather than weight loss.

Healthy Kids is for children ages 6 to 11 and a caregiver. During most classes, children and caregivers meet in separate groups, allowing activities to be age appropriate.
