The Norville Breast Care Center
provides comprehensive breast cancer diagnostic services and education about breast care and breast cancer. The modern center offers patients the latest technology available for breast cancer detection as well as privacy, comfort and convenience.
Services include:
- Digital mammography
- Alamance Regional’s Mammography Imaging Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology and the Food and Drug Administration
- Breast ultrasound
- Stereotactic breast biopsies
- Needle biopsies
- Education about breast health and breast cancer
The Norville Breast Care Center is located near the Alamance Regional visitor’s entrance. The facility includes:
- Private dressing and waiting areas
- Convenient, reserved parking located just outside the facility’s front door
- A resource center where patients can learn about breast self-examination, breast health, breast cancer and women’s health issues through video, a computer with Internet access and printed literature.
Our staff includes:
- A breast-care coordinator to assure that tests are performed quickly and that more serious cases receive immediate attention
- Certified breast health specialists
- A nurse educator liaison to provide support and education for patients and community education
- Certified mammography technologists
- Board-certified radiologists
- Board-certified surgeons
