| Headline: Five New Members Elected to Alamance Regional’s Board of Directors |

Alamance Regional Medical Center’s Board of Directors has elected five new members. Thomas E. Chandler, Jr., President and CEO of Chandler Concrete Co., Inc.; William B. (Brad) Hayes, LabCorp Executive Vice President and CFO; Alan Norton, insurance executive; John Peterson, Jr., owner of The Peterson Agency; and Juan Sanchiz, Burlington Police Department Latino Outreach Program Coordinator, have joined the Board.
The new members were recently elected as part of a Board restructuring initiative after F.D. Hornaday, III, assumed the role of chairman in July. Hornaday accepted the position after Ralph M. Holt, Jr. stepped down from the post. Holt will retire from the Board with 50 years of service in December.
Alamance Regional now has a total of 24 on its Board, with the addition of the five new members. They were chosen to guide the organization forward on the basis of their diverse and essential talents and community roles.
“We are excited to have these new members join our team,” says Hornaday. “They bring a wealth of leadership experience and expertise to our group, and we look forward to working with them to continue to meet the mission of Alamance Regional,” he added.

Holt; Ralph M. Holt, Jr.; David Jordan, MD; Paul H. Juengel, MD; Andrew Lamb, MD; Chapman McQueen, MD; James G. McClure; Dr. Aaron P. Noble, Jr.; William H. Smith; Carl Steinbicker; Dr. Barbara M. Tapscott; and Dr. Alan J. White.
