The 5K served as the kick-off event for the Free Vascular Screening which will be held Tuesday night, October 20 at Alamance Regional. The hospital is expecting to screen approximately 200 people for vascular disease. “While heart disease remains the country’s number one killer, vascular disease cripples countless people each year. Early detection of vascular disease through screening can prevent serious and even fatal outcomes,” says Dr. Andy Hearn of Carolina Vascular & Vein. <
