Alamance Regional Medical Center is one of 38 hospitals nationally to be recognized for providing safe and efficient care. The hospital received a Citation of Merit for the QUEST Award for High-value Healthcare. Specifically, Alamance Regional was recognized for reducing the average cost of care, improving patient satisfaction scores, reducing preventable harm events, and reducing readmissions.
QUEST is a national collaborative of 333 hospitals sponsored by the Premier healthcare alliance. Alamance Regional and other QUEST hospitals monitor and measure performance in key areas and then report and compare those measures. Continually measuring performance helps hospitals deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
“This award speaks to our commitment to deliver the best care experience to our community,” said Preston Hammock, President and COO, Alamance Regional. “Participating in QUEST is one of the many ways we utilize and follow healthcare practices that are proven to produce the best care and treatment for patients.”
In April, Alamance Regional was recognized as a Top Performing Hospital in the QUEST initiative.
