Medical Nutrition Therapy
The Medical Nutrition Therapy program helps patients improve their health by offering eating, cooking and food shopping guidelines tailored to each patient’s medical condition. Patients are referred by a physician and receive one-on-one nutrition counseling from a registered dietitian.
This program can assist with a range of medical goals and conditions, including weight loss, high blood pressure, diabetes, food allergies or renal failure.
Medical Nutrition Therapy is offered at the Grand Oaks Center on the Alamance Regional Campus, Mebane Medical Park, Yanceyville and East Burlington. Appointments are also available at the Charles Drew Clinic for patients who speak Spanish. For more information, call the LifeStyle Center at 538-8100.
