Lactation Services
Breastfeeding is an important part of helping newborns to feel secure, warm and comforted.  Our certified lactation consultants offer support tailored to you and your baby to help make breastfeeding the best experience possible for both of you.  Before you go home, you will receive a free breastfeeding consultation. Additional consultations are available at no charge before you leave the hospital, or for a fee after you go home. You may also call our breastfeeding response phone line at no charge. The Lactation Services voicemail can be reached by calling 336-538-7387.

In addition to consultations, we offer:

• Medela pump rentals, sales and other supplies
• Financial assistance through the Alamance Regional Foundation
• Free antenatal breastfeeding classes the second and third Tuesdays of each month
• Services to the Special Care Nursery
