Are all of the job openings listed online still available?
We update the website every week, so everything listed is most likely still available. If you don’t see something that you are interested in right now, keep checking the website- new openings are posted each week.

Can I apply for more than one position?
Absolutely! We realize that you may be qualified for more than one of our opportunities and welcome your application. We do encourage you to carefully review the job responsibilities and requirements of an open position prior to submitting your application and apply to only those positions for which you are qualified.

Do I have to apply for a specific position?
Yes. Many different positions are available at Alamance Regional with varying responsibilities and shifts. It is necessary for you to apply for a specific position in order to be considered for employment.

Do I have to have an e-mail address to apply for positions at Alamance Regional?
Yes, you will need to have a valid e-mail address to create your online profile. You can obtain a free e-mail address from sites like yahoo.com, hotmail.com, and gmail.com.

How do I add information to my application or apply again?
You can update your online job profile (application) by logging into your job profile from the Career Center homepage.

How do I apply to additional positions once I have already entered my online employment profile (application)?
You can apply for additional positions by logging into your job profile from the Career Center homepage and selecting the Find Jobs tab at the top of the page. Select the position of interest and then click on Apply for This Position.

How long will it take for me to be contacted after I've applied?
Alamance Regional receives a large volume of applications each day. If a hiring manager believes that your skills and experience are a match with his/her needs and would like to discuss the employment opportunity with you further, you will be contacted via telephone to schedule an appointment.

How long will my application remain on file?
Your employment profile will remain on file for at least one year. In order for a manager to view your profile, you must attach your application to an open job by applying to an open position.

I applied for a position and was not hired. Now that same position is listed again. Am I automatically a candidate for the new opening?
Each time a new position is listed on the website, you must re-apply in order for us to view your application. Only applications that are attached to a current job opening will be considered.

Is it mandatory to work shifts and/or weekends?
Alamance Regional must operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to care for our patients. Shift work and weekend schedules are mandatory for many positions. Please review the schedule requirements stated for each specific position.

What do I do if I forget my user ID and/or password?
Click on the “forgot password” icon on the website, where you will be prompted to enter your social security number and then answer the security question that you chose when you created your profile. Once you answer the question correctly, your username (email address) and password will be displayed on the screen. If you still can’t log in to your account, please call Human Resources for assistance.

When do positions close?
When a manager is ready to make a job offer to a candidate, applicants will no longer have the ability to view or apply for that position.

Where is Alamance Regional Human Resources Department located?
The Human Resources department is located in the lower level of the Medical Arts Building. You may reach the department by entering the building through the Cancer Center entrance and turning left on the hallway off the lobby.

Why was I not selected for a position?
Managers consider many factors when reviewing applicants and strive to hire people who most closely meet the requirements of the job. While more than one candidate may meet those requirements, managers have to make difficult decisions when determining to whom a position will be offered. We unfortunately do not have the ability to hire all the great people who are interested in working at Alamance Regional.

Would having a criminal record affect one's chance of getting a job with Alamance Regional?
Applicants with a criminal record are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Be honest and forthright concerning your background during the interview and application process. Applicants that are found to have falsified their application will be rejected.

Do you accept resumes or paper applications?
When creating your profile (online application), you have the option to attach an electronic copy of your resume. We no longer have paper applications.

How do I know if my application has been submitted?
Once you click “Apply” at the end of the job description, you will get a pop up message stating that you have successfully applied for the opening. If you are unsure if you received this message, please contact Human Resources.
