Details : Enjoy a delicious, heart healthy meal while learning from local healthcare professionals how you can begin to take better care of your heart. Invite your mother, daughter, sister, aunt, or friend to join you for this Heart Smart Women's event! In celebration of Heart Month, try to wear something red.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the lunch session and at 5:30 p.m.for the dinner session. Space is extremely limited.

Women and Heart Disease Muhammad Arida, MD, of Alliance Medical Associates,will discuss the warning signs of heart attacks in women and how to lower the risk of heart disease.
Eating Smart for Your Heart Pam Ingram, Alamance Regional dietitian, will discuss how you can make diet choices that are healthy for the heart and good for the waistline.
Heart Smart Moves Fredricka Jenkins, Alamance Regional exercise specialist, will help you learn about exercises to improve your heart health.
