At Alamance Regional, specially trained emergency medicine physicians and nurses provide quality care around the clock. The physicians in the emergency department are board certified in emergency medicine. Members of our nursing staff are certified in advanced cardiac life support, respiratory care, trauma care and advanced pediatric care.

Our two-track emergency department is designed to provide efficient treatment regardless of the injury or illness. A separate treatment area has been designated for major emergencies, such as cardiac arrest or trauma. Our minor care area serves patients with injuries and illnesses. This system allows all our patients to receive effective care.

For sexual assault victims, Alamance Regional's sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) team offers private, confidential, and compassionate treatment in a quiet, secluded suite.
