National Clinical Trials
More than 60 national clinical trials are underway at our Cancer Center. These trials allow our patients to participate in research studies of the latest treatment options while remaining close to home. Our physicians and four oncology certified nurses work closely with patients participating in these studies.

Approximately six percent of Alamance Regional cancer patients are enrolled in clinical trials. This percentage is three times the national average and earned the center a commendation with the American College of Surgeons in 2010.
