Our Mission … seeking ways to help Alamance Regional fulfill its mission to improve the health of the citizens of Alamance County and the surrounding communities.
Since the Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation began is 1999 it has raised over $2 million to develop or support creative projects and programs to meet the needs of the citizens of Alamance County and the surrounding communities. The foundation primarily focuses on raising funds to enhance health services and making friends for the hospital to generate a base of ongoing financial support. Gifts may be given to the foundation’s general fund, one of the foundation’s existing special funds, or to an area of interest specified by the donor. Contributions may also be made in honor or memory of friends and loved ones. Other ways to give include our three special annual events: Blizzard Blast, a gala evening held each January; the Lights of Love Campaign, a holiday program that allows participants to purchase lights on the Lights of Love wreath or tree; and the Pink Ribbon Luncheon, a gathering to raise funds to assist patients in the Norville Breast Care Center.
The Charitable Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt corporation governed by a Board of Directors.
