Cardiac Rehabilitation Our cardiac rehabilitation program, HeartTrack, helps patients with heart disease discover a healthier life through education, exercise, nutrition and psychosocial support. Medical research has shown people with coronary artery disease who are involved in a formal rehabilitation program have a significantly lower mortality rate than those who are not.
HeartTrack is a 12-week program. Patients who have completed HeartTrack and wish to continue exercising at Alamance Regional may participate in our Extensions program. For more information about HeartTrack, call the LifeStyle Center at 538-8120.
The HeartTrack team includes the following medical professionals:
- Cardiologist
- Cardiovascular nurse
- Registered dietitian
- Mental health professional
- Exercise physiologist
- Vocational rehabilitation specialist
These staff members work closely with your physician to determine the program best suited for your particular medical and physical needs.
