Conditions that should be treated in the Emergency Department include:
- Life threatening emergencies
- Chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Obvious fractures
- Severe bleeding
- Pregnancy related problems
- Stroke or a change in mental status
- Severe abdominal pain
- Severe headache
- Severe cuts/lacerations
- Unexpected changes in your vision
