Woman in physical therapyRehabilitation

Alamance Regional provides a full spectrum of physical rehabilitation services to a broad range of patients, from infants to senior citizens, from those who have been injured or sick to those with developmental disabilities.

Our physical, occupational and speech therapists are devoted to helping patients learn, or relearn, the skills they need in their day-to-day life. We provide caring, effective rehabilitation services designed to restore patients’ independence.

We also work with employers to provide functional capacity evaluations, worker’s compensation case management and injury prevention education.

Highly experienced, extensively trained

Our skilled therapists have specialized training, clinical expertise and national certifications, allowing them to provide patients the highest level of care. Many of our therapists hold doctoral and master’s degrees, and we have specialists who are board certified in orthopedic, neurological and geriatric therapy.

Alamance Regional also has partnerships with the physical therapy doctoral program at Elon University and the physical therapy assistant program at Guilford Technical Community College. Some of our staff teach in those programs, and faculty and students in those programs also contribute to our rehabilitation services.
