Pastoral Care and Counseling
Alamance Regional’s Pastoral Care and Counseling Department offers care to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and staff. Chaplains are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at our Grand Oaks Center. Our Staff Chaplains are supported by the presence of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Residents/Interns and community ministers who have prior training as clinical chaplains.
A chapel is located on the second floor, between the surgical waiting area and patient units. It is available for personal and small group meditation. Worship services are held in conjunction with religious holidays and for special observances.
The Pastoral Care and Counseling Department also provides:
Employee Assistance Counseling Program
Behavioral health and interpersonal problems of all kind can have a significant impact on workplace productivity and at home. Because of that, we provide an employee assistance counseling program to employees of companies that contract with us.
