Fetal heart conditions
Fetal consultations and testing are also available Duke University Medical Center specialists, including fetal echocardiography. Fetal echocardiography allows doctors to detect potential heart problems in infants while they are still in the womb, allowing doctors to prepare care and treatment plans in advance of a child’s birth. See the Perinatal Clinic, part of Alamance Regional’s BirthPlace, for more information.
