Behavioral Health

Mental illness, alcohol abuse and drug abuse can devastate patients and their families. Whether it’s a problem with alcoholism or drug addiction, depression, schizophrenia or other mental illnesses, our experienced, compassionate team is here to help.

Our services include:

  • Acute inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment for adults.
  • An intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program for adults.
  • Individual, family and group therapy for a variety of conditions.
  • An ECT program.
  • 24-hour emergency services.

Our highly trained staff includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and substance abuse counselors. This multidisciplinary team creates individualized treatment plans that build the coping skills needed to move the patient back into the home and community as quickly as possible. Each treatment plan addresses family, career, home life, medical, developmental and emotional needs.

Our behavioral health team also works closely with other agencies in the community to ensure people with mental health problems, and their families, get the care and support they need.

Therapeutic Garden helps patients heal

Our Behavioral Medicine unit includes a therapeutic courtyard specially designed to help patients with recovery. Patients are able to garden, socialize, play basketball, or simply enjoy the flowers, butterflies and birds.
