Temporary Visitor Restrictions
Effective immediately, Cone Health is asking members of the community to help us protect our patients by voluntarily restricting their visitation if they are experiencing symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, fever and cough.
In addition, we are asking people 18 years or younger to refrain from visiting.
General Inpatient Visiting Hours
6 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Visitors in the room are limited to two visitors per patient.
Behavioral Medicine Visiting Hours
Monday-Friday: 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Weekends: 4 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Critical Care Unit (CCU)
8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and then 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Open visitation is allowed for a patient’s immediate family and significant other. Visitors are limited to two per patient at any given time.
10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The support person may visit at any time. During labor and delivery in the BirthPlace, visitors are limited to one support person and one other person to provide relief for the support person. Other family members and friends may stay in an alternative waiting area
Special Care Nursery
Parent(s) of the patient may visit 24 hours a day except during nursing shift report, physician rounds and special procedures in the unit. Grandparents may have unrestricted visitation if approved by the parents in writing. Siblings age 3 and up can visit with an adult caregiver.
Our cafeteria, The Wave Crest Café, is located on the lower level.
- Breakfast: 6:30 – 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Snacks, chips, desserts and drinks are available all day.
The Java City coffee shop is located in the Medical Mall, near patient registration. The shop sells a variety of coffee drinks, muffins and pastries.
The Alamance Regional Gift Shoppe is located on the first floor of the Medical Mall, offering cards, balloons, fresh flowers, gifts, including new baby gifts, jewelry, and food items. The Gift Shoppe is open from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, (336) 538-7546.
An ATM machine is located on the lower level, just outside the elevators to the Medical Mall and near the cafeteria.
All parking at Alamance Regional is free. If you are coming to visit a patient, you should park in the lot at the Visitor Entrance. If you are coming for an outpatient procedure or test, you should park in the Medical Mall parking area. There are separate parking areas for the Norville Breast Care Center (located near the Visitor Entrance), the Cancer Center (located at the back of the Medical Arts Building) and Rehabilitation. Courtesy car service
A courtesy car, provided by the Alamance Regional
Auxiliary, is available to take patients and visitors to all locations on the
main campus. The car makes regular rounds and operates from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, (336) 213-8574.
Valet parking is available for patients of the Cancer Center,
Rehabilitation and the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic. The valet parking
station is located at the Cancer Center entrance and operates 8:00 am-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Valet parking at the Medical Mall is available from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm.
