Alamance Regional Medical Center Recognized for TV Commercials

The advertising campaign for Alamance Regional Medical Center has been awarded three prestigious, gold and platinum MarCom awards for television commercials.

The platinum MarCom Award was presented for the overall "It’s My Hospital" television campaign. Two individual spots in the TV campaign -- Thrill Ride (showcasing The BirthPlace at Alamance Regional) and Breathe (highlighting surgical services) -- were singled out for gold MarCom Awards. The commercials can be viewed by going to armc.com and clicking the "It’s My Hospital Campaign" box.

"The patients and staff in the commercials are actual patients and staff," says Alamance Regional Medical Center President and COO Preston Hammock. "The pride, the satisfaction and the excellence shown in the commercials are the same attributes delivered to every patient, every day at Alamance Regional."

More than 5,000 submissions were entered into the competition. The MarCom Awards recognize creativity in the creation of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. The competition is open to corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms and others.

The awards are administered by the Association of Merketing and Communications Professionals.
