Celebration of Life - Cancer Survivor Day featuring New York Times best-selling author and cancer survivor Kelly Corrigan.

Registration for this class is closed. (Alternative dates are available for some classes.)

Registration begins February 3 and ends March 14.  On-line registration is not available for this event.  Please call the LiveWell Line at 336-586-4000 to register.

***Registration fees are considered a charitable donation and are non-refundable.  Standard registration scholarships are available.  Please inquire by February 20.

Description

Please join us for Celebration of Life - Cancer Survivor Day 2014, hosted by the Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation.  Proceeds from this event will be used for enhancing support services and survivorship programming available to cancer patients after they have completed active treatment.

Program events include a keynote presentation with New York Times best-selling author and cancer survivor Kelly Corrigan, who humorously and poignantly shares her most personal stories in order to inspire people across the nation.   Participants also may choose one of the following presentations:

The 21st Century of Cancer Care and Radiation Therapy presented by Dr. Janak Choksi and Dr. Glenn Chrystal.

OR

Exercise and Nutrition for the Cancer Survivor presented by Julie Robertson and Steven Way.

  2. Donations will be accepted at the event to help enhance the support services and survivorship programming for our cancer patients after they have completed active treatment.
