Preston Hammock

Preston Hammock

Preston Hammock serves as President of Alamance Regional Medical Center, overseeing day-to-day operations of the organization, and an Executive Vice President at Cone Health. He joined Alamance Regional in 2006, serving in various administrative roles and was promoted to President in March 2013. Hammock previously served as Vice President and Senior Vice President.

Hammock holds a bachelor of science degree in biology from Duke University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Benjamin Rodin Scholar. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, which honored him as the 2013 recipient of the Regent Award for early career executives in North Carolina.  Hammock has also been recognized by The Triad Business Journal among the 40 Leaders Under 40 in 2009 and by Business Leader magazine’s Movers and Shakers distinction in 2011.

He is also active in community agencies and health-related organizations. He is past-president of the Alamance County Meals on Wheels Board, a current board member with Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, a member of the United Way of Alamance County Leadership Council and a volunteer with the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee. Hammock also serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Siemens Healthcare’s SYNGO US Division.

Dick Donahey

Richard G. Donahey

Richard Donahey is Senior Vice President. He is responsible for Facilities Engineering, Rehabilitation Services, the LifeStyle Center, Security, and Environmental and Dining Services.

He received his bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1969, and his masters’ degree in education administration from Western Carolina University in 1979.

Prior to joining Alamance Regional, he served as Vice President of Human Resources at Cleveland Memorial Hospital in Shelby, N.C. from 1976 to 1986, and as Director of Personnel Services at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, S.C. from 1986 to 1987.

Donahey is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Vicki Moran

Vicki Moran

Vicki Moran is Vice President of Clinical and Support Services. She currently oversees Cardiovascular Services, the Pharmacy, Clinical Engineering, Laboratory, Quality Resources, Home Care Providers, Pastoral Care, Patient Relations and Accreditation.

Vicki served as Assistant Vice President for Support Services from 1988 to 1994. She worked part-time as the Joint Commission Coordinator from 1995 to 2009.

Moran holds an undergraduate degree in health policy and administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master’s in health administration from Duke University. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Triad Healthcare Executives Forum.

LaVern Delaney

LaVern Delaney

LaVern Delaney is Vice President of Nursing and Patient Services. Prior to joining Alamance Regional, Delaney was Director of Nursing and Patient Services at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Before joining Cone in 2005, Delaney was a clinical nurse manager and cardiac nurse specialist at Sentara Healthcare in Virginia Beach, Va. She began her career as a registered nurse for the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va.

Delaney has a master’s of business administration and master’s of health administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from the University of Virginia School of Nursing.
